Girl Scouts of Western Ohio
Girl
Scouts is the world's pre-eminent organization
dedicated solely to girls.
In partnership with committed adults, girls develop qualities that will serve
them all their lives like strong values, social conscience and conviction about
their own
potential and self-worth.
The Girl
Scout Law
I will do my best to be:
honest and fair
friendly and helpful,
considerate and caring,
courageous and strong,
and responsible for what I say and do,
And to
respect myself and others,
respect authority,
use resources wisely,
make the world a better place,
and be a sister to every Girl Scout.
The Girl Scout Promise
On my honor, I will try:
To serve God and my country,
To help people at all times,
And to live by the Girl Scout Law.

Troops
Troops are lead by adults from your community who have volunteered to work with Girl Scouts . These adults have filled out applications and had reference checks before they where appointed to the position of Troop/Group leader.
Troops meet one or more times a month and provide opportunities for the girls to take field trips, work on Girl Scout insignia, develop self-esteem, make new friends, and explore many areas of interest. Parents participation is needed to carryout Troop activities.
