Mission Statement
Girl Scouting builds girls of courage,
confidence, and character,
who make the world a better place.
Nintendo Wii Winners
Girl Scouts of Western Ohio would
like
to congratulate Amanda
Kempher and
Michelle Britt from
troop 20414 in Elida, OH
for
earning their Nintendo Wii's!
Both Michelle and Amanda sold
over
2000 boxes of cookies to
earn their award,
and worked very hard in the
Cookie
Program.
As Amanda said, "We worked maybe 30-40 booths, almost every day during the week and on weekends....Our leader and parents encouraged us, telling us we’ve come this far and we didn’t have much further to go....We’re also trying to earn enough money to go to Europe so we wanted to make a lot of troop profit too."

Winners of the Giant Dash Dog
Visitors to our region's office over
the
past several months may
have noticed
the giant stuffed
black-and-white Dashdog
that
was hanging over the
entranceway. Giant Dash was one
of the great recognitions that girls
could earn through the Cookie
Program, and Girl Scouts of Western
Ohio is proud to announce that Dash
has found a good home!
Troops that had 100% participation in the Cookie
Program were eligible to enter a drawing to win the giant Dash. Troop
20559, from Logan County was the winner, and received Dash at Earth Day at
Camp Myeerah! Congratulations again to this troop, and all other troops
with 100% participation, for your great work in the Cookie Program!
