High Ropes:

The High Ropes Course emphasizes taking risks, developing trust, increasing self-confidence and the use of positive coaching techniques in a safe setting.  The challenges allow participants to expand their comfort zones and recognize fears that may block personal achievement.

Each element is constructed of a combination of steel cables and ropes attached to telephone poles 25 feet off the ground.  Participants wear a harness and safety helmet while climbing.  They are clipped into a rope (via carabineer) which runs between their harness and the steel cables.  Our facilitators are highly trained in rigging equipment, belaying techniques, helping people set and reach their goals and facilitating follow-up discussions.

The length of High Ropes is 3 hours.  A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 people can be on this course at one time.  You must be in the 6th grade or older to participate.

Cost varies so contact the Program Department at 419.225.4085 for more details.
